The hotel is opened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and our rooftop restaurant is opened from 7am to 11pm.

What types of rooms does the Hideaway offer?

We offer a range of rooms to suit various preferences with different prices depending on the size of the room you choose. We have standard rooms, deluxe rooms, suite, bedroom apartment and penthouse with breakfast included.

What amenities are included in the rooms?

All rooms typically come with the following standard amenities:

Yes, some of our Deluxe Rooms, Suites, and select other room categories offer private balconies or terraces, where you can relax and enjoy the views.

What are the check-in/check-out times?

Check-in for our rooms begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Late check-out can be requested at an additional fee of $20 per hour, subject to room availability.

Is there Wi-Fi available at the hotel ?

We do have complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel, including in guest rooms and public areas. You will find the login details in your room service directory or you can also ask at the front desk.

Services

Do you offer airport transportation?

We do offer shuttle services to and from the airport at the price of $25 per ride. Please contact the front desk on +250 794 106 150 or +250 252 900 720 to arrange a pickup or drop-off.

Is parking available at the hotel ?

We do offer secure self-parking at The Hideaway Boutique Hotel.

Do you offer laundry services?

We do offer laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services at charge. Please use the laundry bag and form in your room, and leave it for housekeeping to collect.

Is there a fitness center or pool in the hotel?

Our hotel has a fully equipped fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool available for guest use from 6am to 10pm.

Do you have a Spa or Wellness services?

Can I book tours or activities through the hotel ?

Our concierge service can assist with booking local tours, activities and transportation. Please visit the front desk for recommendations and reservations.

Bookings

Do I need to pay a deposit when booking ?

To confirm your reservation, we do require a 50% deposit of the total booking amount at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due upon check-in.

What is your cancellation policy ?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation within 7 days of check-in: You will receive a full refund of your 50% deposit.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours before check-in: You will be charged a 50% of your deposit.

In case of a no-show without prior notice, your deposit will not be refunded, and the booking will be considered canceled.

Do you accommodate special requests, like rooms decorations for a celebration ?

We’re happy to help make your stay special! Please contact us on +250 794 106 150 or +250 252 900 720 in advance to arrange room decorations, cakes, or other requests for special occasions.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel ?

Our hotel is non-smoking in all indoor areas including guest rooms. We do provide designated smoking areas outside the building for your convenience.

Can I store my luggage at the hotel before check-in or after checkout ?

We do offer luggage storage for guests arriving early or departing late. Please inquire at the front desk for assistance.

What languages are spoken by the hotel staff?

Our staff speaks English, French and Kinyarwanda. We strive to accommodate guests from around the world.

What should I do if I leave an item behind after checking out?

If you’ve forgotten something in your room, please contact the front desk as soon as possible, and we’ll assist you in retrieving the item or arrange to have it shipped to you.

What are the restaurant’s operating hours?

Our rooftop restaurant is open from 7am to 11pm for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Monday to Friday :
Breakfast  – 7am to 10am.
Lunch – 12.00pm to 3pm.
Dinner – 6pm to 11pm.

Saturday to Sunday :
Breakfast – 7am to 11am.
Lunch – 12.00pm to 3pm.
Dinner – 6pm to 11pm.

Early breakfast is also available upon request.

Does the restaurant offer room service?

We do offer room service from 7am to 11pm. A room service menu is available in your room, and you can place an order from your room by dialling 125 or 135.

Is breakfast included in my room rate?

A complimentary breakfast buffet is included in all room rates. On week-days, breakfast is served from 7am to 10am and during week-ends, from 7am to 11am. Early breakfast is also available upon request.

Can I make a reservation at the restaurant?

We do encourage reservations, especially for lunch, dinner or larger groups. You can make a reservation by contacting the front desk or calling the restaurant directly at +250 794 106 150 or +250 252 900 720.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

We do offer a variety of dietary options, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other special dietary needs. Please inform your server of any dietary restrictions.

Is there a dress code at the restaurant?

Our restaurant has a casual/smart casual dress code. While formal attire is not required, we kindly ask that guests avoid beachwear or swimwear during dinner service.

Does the restaurant serve alcohol?

Our restaurant has a fully stocked bar with a wide selection of wines, cocktails, beers and champagnes. You can also enjoy drinks in our lounge area or request them via room service.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

We take food allergies seriously. Please inform your server of any allergies or dietary restrictions when placing your order, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Does the restaurant organise brunch?

We host a monthly brunch every last Sunday at our rooftop restaurant. Enjoy a delicious buffet, live music, and complimentary access to the pool for all brunch guests. It’s the perfect way to unwind and soak in the view!

Can I host a private event or party at the restaurant?

What type of cuisine is served at the restaurant?

Our restaurant offers an international menu. We also use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

Is Wi-Fi available in the restaurant?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant. You can use the same Wi-Fi network as your room, or ask for access information from the restaurant staff.

Can non-hotel guests dine at the restaurant?

Our restaurant is open to the public, and non-hotel guests are welcome to dine with us. While reservations are strongly recommended, especially during peak times, we also accept walk-ins.

What if I need to cancel my restaurant reservation?

We kindly ask that you notify us in advance if you need to cancel or modify your reservation.

Do you offer buffet or à la carte options?

We offer both buffet and à la carte options, depending on the meal and time of day.
Breakfast is served as a buffet, while lunch is typically à la carte, and dinner is a 6-course set menu.

The 6-course dinner set menu is priced at RWF 60,000 per person. If you prefer, you can also opt for the à la carte menu for dinner.

We feature live music on select nights. Please check with the front desk or the restaurant for the entertainment schedule.
